Eligibility:
International, Victorian and Australian artists are eligible to apply.
All visual Artists are eligible to apply (In terms of the utilization of space, 2D is slightly favored in selection criteria but Wardlow says never say never).
Full time or part time students are NOT eligible to apply.
Applicants must be willing and able to naturally commit as much time as possible to being a full time artist. (minimum 35 hours per week)
Selection Criteria:
Successful applicants are chosen on the basis of a lateral thinking mind, quality and layered creativity of artist works; perceived potential, conceptual and aesthetic balance with other artist residents; and the ability to create thought provoking ideas and pieces.
Importantly, please take a few minutes to read the "general information" section on the main page. This will further help applicants understand where Wardlow is coming from.

Required Information:
1.Completed application form (see .DOC below)
press: WARDLOW APPLICATION FORM.doc
2.One CV.
3.Visual Materials:
· at least 15 digital pictures on CD/DVD of work completed in the last 2 years.
The more diverse the selection of your works the better.
· one photo of the artist.
4. Large self addressed stamped envelope for return of materials if desired.
Decisions:
Final decisions will be made 6-8 weeks before the residency begins. Applicants will be notified by email or phone call. A small interview (either by phone or at the Wardlow Warehouse) will take place, and residencies will be notified upon agreement.

Wardlow prefers hard copy but will also gladly accept emailed application forms (especially from hard to reach places). Make email subject title: "APPLICATION FORM ATTACHED" and attach the images (preferably as a PowerPoint file) and word document.
